YOUTH MENTORING PROGRAM

To promote more youth fishing and hunting opportunities for the youth of our community,
the Lac Du Bonnet Wildlife Association is pleased to announce our new Youth Mentoring Program.
Just like our individual awards program for fish, deer, elk, moose, and bear, we will
recognize 1st, 2nd & 3rd place winners at our Awards Banquet.
All first place winners will have
their names on the big club trophies. All winning teams of 1 adult/1 youth who preregister prior
to the start of the fishing and hunting seasons will also win Cabela gift cards. Preregistering
is a commitment to take a youth fishing and/or hunting.

Youth Director will visit LdB schools and Community Centre to promote this program. Here are some of the
details of the Youth Mentoring Program.
- adults and youth must be members of the LdB Wildlife Association.
- youth must have a Manitoba Hunter Safety course to hunt.
- youth must be 12 to 17 years old to hunt
- any youth under 18 who can hold a rod can fish
- mentoring awards will be based on total combined score of the adult and youth entry
- Cabela Gift Cards of $100.00 for first, $50.00 for second, and $25.00 for third will also be awarded
to winners of each specie if pregistered before angling & hunting seasons (form on backside)
- same trophy & certificate program as our regular awards program
- official scoring of all big game entries by members of the Manitoba Big Game Trophy Association.
- fish entries will be accepted as per angling rules posted on website
