Angling Awards Rules
Just a reminder to everyone that there will be awards for largest fish at our Annual Awards Banquet.
Awards will be given for the largest fish of each species, Northern Pike, Walleye, Smallmouth Bass and Perch.
Rules are as follows:
1. All entries must be caught in current year, in the Province of Manitoba, with a valid fishing license issued by Manitoba Conservation
and following all regulations of the Manitoba Angling Guide.
2. All entries must include name, address, phone number of applicant, length of fish in cm, date and location where fish was caught.
3. Two witnesses or one witness and a picture are required along with name, address & phone number of witnesses.
4. Entries may be submitted at any time during the year on our official entry form before the stipulated deadline. Make sure you receive a confirmation number from the Angling Director to ensure your entry has been received. Click here for official "Angling Award Application" entry form.
5. All entries will remain property of the Lac du Bonnet Wildlife Association.
6. All members submitting entries must be present at the Awards Banquet.
Big Game Awards Rules
Big game awards will be presented for largest:
1. typical deer
2. non typical deer
3. moose
4. elk
5. bear
HUNTING RULES
1. All entries must be harvested in current year, in the Province of Manitoba, with a valid hunting license issued by Manitoba Conservation
and following all regulations of the Manitoba Hunting Guide.
2. Entries may be taken by archery, muzzle loader or rifle but only one award will be given out for each of the above categories.
3. All entries must be pre-registered 1 week before Annual Awards Banquet.
4. Member must attend Awards Banquet to qualify.
